Fire broke out at the office of the Delhi Transport Department in Civil Lines area on Monday morning. At least 26 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to put out the blaze.
According to the Fire and Rescue department, the fire was reported at 8.38 a.m this morning and it was doused around 10.45 a.m.
Fire tenders from various stations in the capital region rushed to the spot and doused it, said Delhi Fire Service Department Chief Atul Garg.
“The fire was reported at the server room of the office of Delhi Transport Department, near Civil Lines Metro Station,” the official said.
The cause for the fire and the extent of loss was not available immediately. No casualties were reported, DFS sources said.
