Fire broke out in Rabindra Nagar market area in Siliguri in West Bengal in the early hours on Wednesday.
At least seven shops were gutted in fire. Scores of fire tenders from nearby locations rushed to the spot to douse the fire and rescue operations.
However, no casualties were reported from the spot. Reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained, an official said. More details are awaited.
