Even as the memory of the recent fire accident at Anaj Mandi that took 43 lives a week ago fades from the minds of the people, another fire accident was reported in Mundka area in West Delhi on Saturday morning.
According to news agencies, as many as 12 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and started dousing the fire, further reports are awaited.
Last Sunday’s accident was one of Delhi’s worst fire accidents, ever seen in New Delhi.
On June 13, 1997, a fire that started from a transformer in the basement of Uphaar cinema complex caused 59 deaths.
