Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (FOTNA), Rear Admiral Satish Shenoy, NSM on Friday flagged in the Indian Navy’s car rally “Nautical Trail” here on Friday.
“The Indian Navy’s car rally ‘Nautical Trail’ returned to Chennai in the evening today (March 21, 2025) from Kanyakumari, after 19 days of crisscrossing four states. On their return, the expedition was flagged in by the Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (FOTNA), Rear Admiral Satish Shenoy, NSM, in presence of the INS Adyar Station Commander Captain Manu Roy and Hyundai Motor India President and Chief Executive Officer Unsoo Kim among others at the Naval Station,” says a Defence release.

- The whole expedition was organised into two legs, with the participation of 60 members, including 16 women, drawn from among the naval officers, sailors and their families
The expedition “Nautical Trail” consisting of 15 cars covered over 3,080 kilometers during the journey, meeting more than 3,500 students on their way. The youth were briefed about various career opportunities in the Defence Force, the adventurous life of sailors at sea and India’s maritime security.
The whole expedition was organised into two legs, with the participation of 60 members, including 16 women, drawn from among the naval officers, sailors and their families, the statement added.
