Formal education is important because it gives you confidence with power of knowledge, exhorted Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, who is known for portraying powerful roles on screen with impeccable acting skills.
Manoj Bajpayee, on Thursday addressed the students of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, as part of ‘Swarrnim Talk’ organised at the university. After visiting the university executive officials, Bajpayee received a warm welcome by the students at the university.
The talk was jointly addressed by Bajpayee along with Devashish Makhija, who is the director of the upcoming film – Joram, which is due to release on Friday, December 8 this year. The film tells a story of a tribal child and one’s life struggles.
The duo spoke at length about the film, its characters and also about the film set and children artists in the film.
During the talk by the two celebrities of Indian cinema, the trailer of the film was also played and was applauded by the students and faculty members present at the university. They explained how it took a year to finalise the child character for the film.
Bajpayee shared how he often suggests the names of the characters he plays for a movie or a web series and how he always tries to push the boundaries while playing a character for a film.
Speaking to the students about education, Bajpayee said, “Formal education is important because it gives you confidence with the power of knowledge and goes a long way in helping you with all your pursuits.”
Bajpayee also shared his journey as an actor from his first film – Satya to Gangs of Wasseypur and further on. He even narrated a few dialogues for the students from his films.
