Pinkathon had organised its 1st edition of Mother Daughter Obstacle Race in Ahmedabad on February 9, an exclusive event for Mother and their daughters.
The organisers said, the Pinkathon is always looking to make fitness more fun for everyone which is why, Pinkathon had organised this event with an objective of “A family runs together and stays together”
The main objective of the Obstacle Race was to foster a sense of team spirit and promote the idea of having fun while doing a physical activity.
This activity also contributed to the hand-eye coordination and basic physical dexterity of the participants. The course was made up of different obstacles such as hurdles, ladders, crawling under nets, tyres flipping, etc.
The teams which participated in this obstacle course were a pair of a female guardian and a girl who had to complete the obstacles with each other’s help.
40 pairs of mothers, daughters participated
There were 40 pairs of mothers and daughters that participated in this event and they pledged to do participate in the Pinkathon to be held on March 1 (Sunday) at Vallabh Sadan, a release said.
