Close on the heels of announcing partnerships in India with Tata Group and Reliance Industries to develop language models for business and consumer AI applications, cloud infrastructure and generative services, NVIDIA is all set to court the Indian-American cream of talent back in the Silicon Valley. Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, will be the keynote speaker at the BayArea IIT Leadership Conference.
The much-awaited IIT Bay Area Leadership Conference, which aims to connect the IIT community across the globe, including industry and academic luminaries, business leaders, philanthropists, engineers, disruptive startup founders, and investors, is set to commence this year at the Santa Clara Convention Center on September 16, 2023.
The theme of the conference is ‘Resilience & Reinvention: Thriving through turbulent times.’ The theme is focused on thriving through turbulent times by embracing the principles of reinvention and resilience. Despite the challenging aftermath of the pandemic-induced “Great Reset,” along with mounting inflation, the ongoing European conflict, a decline in GDP, and a deterioration of startup valuations, the conference aims to equip attendees with the tools and ideas necessary to navigate through this trying period with determination and strength, according to the president of the association, Nidhi Kannoujia.
Keeping with the current trend, the focus of the conference will be on Gen AI. The conference will have different tracks covering various technologies, including how genAI is revolutionizing the supply chain. It may be noted that IITs ranked as 4th largest producer of unicorns in the world. The leadership conference is the largest IIT networking event on the West Coast. Last year more than 1,500 alumni and others attended the conference.
The conference is open to All Technical Professionals, Industry veterans, company founders, visionary investors, and trail-blazers will share their stories and vision. Alumni from all 11 IITs will have networking session also.
The conference will feature a women’s forum the previous evening with the theme ‘Build your personal board of directors.’ The conference is open to all and to benefit others the prices are offered at a low now.
