The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) marked another high-impact milestone in its Final Placement process for the PGP Class of 2026, with the successful completion of Cluster 2, held on Friday on campus. The cluster reaffirmed IIM Ahmedabad’s position as a premier talent destination, drawing sustained interest from leading Indian corporates, global firms and first-time recruiters across diverse sectors.
Six Cohorts, Strong Participation
Firms participating in Cluster 2 were structured across six cohorts — Advertising & Media; Conglomerates; Consumer Goods; Consumer Services; Pharmaceuticals & Health Care; and Retail B2B & B2C — ensuring a balanced and sector-diverse placement landscape.
Marquee Recruiters & First-Time Entrants
The Consumer Goods cohort featured marquee recruiters such as Hindustan Unilever and Procter & Gamble, with Berger Paints making its debut in the final placements at IIM Ahmedabad.
The Conglomerates cohort witnessed participation from leading corporate powerhouses including the Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Group, and Tata Administrative Services, with Godrej and the Murugappa Group also joining the process. Notably, the Essar Group emerged as the organisation extending the highest number of offers in this cohort.
Services, Healthcare And Retail See Robust Demand
In the Consumer Services cohort, Airtel stood out as a leading recruiter, reflecting sustained demand for management talent in service-led businesses.
The Pharmaceuticals & Health Care cohort saw prominent participation from Bharat Serums and Sun Pharma, while Leeford Healthcare joined the process for the first time, underlining the growing engagement of healthcare firms with IIM-A’s talent pool.
The Retail B2B & B2C cohort recorded increased participation, with new recruiters Dot & Key and Nykaa joining established players such as Amazon and Flipkart, highlighting the sector’s continued expansion and digital-first focus.
Global Offers Add International Edge
Adding A Global Dimension To The Cluster, International Recruiters Such As DAMAC (Dubai) And Fast Retailing (Tokyo) Extended Offers, With 29 Firms Visiting The Campus As Part Of Cluster 2 — Further Reinforcing IIM Ahmedabad’s International Standing.
Next Up: Cluster 3
The Final Placement process will continue with Cluster 3 scheduled to be held on 9 February 2026, as the PGP Class of 2026 moves closer to completing another landmark placement season.
