In a vibrant celebration of health, mindfulness and holistic well-being, C. C. Sheth College of Commerce marked International Yoga Day on June 20, 2026, with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members and alumni.

The programme was organised with the objective of promoting physical fitness, mental well-being and creating greater awareness about the importance of incorporating yoga into everyday life.
The celebration commenced with a prayer, followed by an insightful introduction highlighting the significance of International Yoga Day and the growing relevance of yoga in maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle in today’s fast-paced world.
Participants actively engaged in a series of yoga asanas under expert guidance. The session featured stretching exercises, pranayama techniques, meditation practices and various yoga postures aimed at enhancing flexibility, concentration, posture, respiratory health and overall wellness.

The atmosphere resonated with positivity and collective energy as students embraced the opportunity to experience the transformative benefits of yoga beyond the classroom environment.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. D. S. Mistry underscored yoga’s global significance and enduring relevance.
