In a powerful blend of industry muscle and cricketing charisma, Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group and one of the country’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has entered into a strategic partnership with Chennai Super Kings as the team’s Official Sponsor for the upcoming Indian Premier League season.
As part of the collaboration, the Ashok Leyland logo will be prominently displayed on the front right chest of CSK’s iconic yellow jersey, marking the coming together of two institutions that share deep roots in Chennai and a legacy of performance and resilience.
The partnership was formally unveiled at Ashok Leyland’s headquarters in Chennai by Dheeraj Hinduja, Chairman of Ashok Leyland, and Shenu Agarwal, Managing Director and CEO of Ashok Leyland, in the presence of Ruturaj Gaikwad, captain of Chennai Super Kings, and Ayush Mhatre, India’s 2026 Under-19 World Cup-winning captain.
The event also saw the unveiling of CSK’s new official jersey for the season, symbolising the powerful alignment between a global automotive brand and one of the most celebrated franchises in IPL history.
Celebrating a Chennai Legacy
The collaboration also extends a long-standing association between CSK and the Hinduja Group, following more than 15 years of partnership with Gulf Oil International, another group company.

Adding a vibrant fan-centric dimension to the partnership, Ashok Leyland unveiled a specially designed CSK Fan Bus dedicated to the team’s passionate “Whistle Podu” supporters. The custom-built bus reflects the spirit of enthusiasm and pride that defines the CSK fan community.
The initiative aims to bring fans closer to the excitement of the cricket season while showcasing Ashok Leyland’s commitment to powering journeys that connect communities.
