Riding in formation with the National Flag proudly displayed on their motorcycles, officers and personnel travelled from the Coast Guard Headquarters to Pimplaj village, drawing cheers from citizens along the route and reinforcing awareness about coastal security and maritime vigilance.

The joint initiative symbolised seamless inter-agency coordination in safeguarding India’s coastline, particularly along Gujarat’s strategically vital western seaboard.

The camp offered:

50 Years of Maritime Vigilance
Established in 1977, the Indian Coast Guard has grown into a formidable maritime force responsible for coastal security, anti-smuggling operations, search and rescue, environmental protection, and safeguarding offshore assets.
The North-West Region plays a particularly critical role in securing India’s western coastline, including Gujarat’s long and strategically significant maritime boundary.
The Golden Jubilee celebrations aim to highlight the Coast Guard’s legacy of dedication, professionalism, and service to the nation while inspiring future generations to contribute to maritime security.
