In a powerful push to elevate entrepreneurship research and pedagogy, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India is hosting the ‘Case Writing Workshop 2026’ under the banner of the 2nd Case Connect on Entrepreneurship 2026, bringing together emerging scholars and seasoned mentors in a dynamic learning environment.
Organised under the aegis of the Centre for Research in Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CREED), the three-day workshop (April 29 – May 1) has drawn 69 case submissions, of which 55 have been selected, representing 40 universities across India—a testament to the growing interest in case-based learning.
BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION OF CASE AUTHORS
The workshop is designed as an intensive, hands-on programme that goes beyond theory—focusing on fundamentals of case writing, structured storytelling, and analytical depth. Participants are engaging in group discussions, model case analysis, systematic draft reviews, and one-on-one mentoring, aimed at refining their work into impactful teaching tools.
The pedagogy blends interactive dialogue, peer-to-peer learning, and expert guidance, ensuring that participants not only write better cases but also understand how to design them for real classroom impact.
MENTORSHIP BY LEADING ACADEMIC MINDS
The submitted cases are being reviewed by eminent academicians including Dr Satyajit Majumdar (Distinguished Adjunct Professor, EDII), Dr Amitabh Deo Kodwani, and Dr Gordhan Kumar Saini, ensuring rigorous academic scrutiny and high-quality output.
The workshop also features panel discussions and expert sessions, offering deeper insights into research methodologies and case development frameworks. The initiative is coordinated by Ganapathi Batthini, who is steering the programme under CREED.
