With an aim to produce industry-ready and tech-savvy graduates in emerging technologies, Gandhinagar University, one of Gujarat’s top academic institutes in the field of technology, has recently inked an MoU with Amigo Cyber Security, Ahmedabad-based AI, cyber security and ethical hacking majors. Under this MoU, they will promote industry focused learning at the university and to enable current working professionals to upskill and acquire higher qualifications themselves.
Through these partnerships the university aims to focus on research, internships, and workforce development; thereby bridging the skills gap between academic learning and market requirements.
The MoU was signed by Gandhinagar University vice president Vinita Rohera and Amigo Cyber Security Founder Amit Singh at the university last Monday.

In the words of Amit Singh, Founder, Amigo Cyber, “The Under-Graduate courses offered to Gandhinagar University students is unique in many respect. The full course is delivered in the university campus by the domain experts in the industry. We have already imparted training to defence, police and other security agencies to keep pace with the latest changes taking place in AI, cyber security et al. The program curriculum has been framed to meet the skilling requirement of industry 4.0 so that when the students come out of the university they will find jobs immediately.”

BTech in Cyber Security and BTech in Artificial Intelligence are both highly sought-after fields due to the increasing demand for professionals with expertise in these areas. Pursuing these degrees can provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to tackle the challenges and opportunities in the respective fields.
Amigo Cyber’s certification programs in Ethical Hacking and Digital Forensics are also valuable offerings. Ethical hacking focuses on understanding and identifying vulnerabilities in computer systems to strengthen their security, while digital forensics involves investigating and analyzing digital evidence in legal cases. These certifications can enhance students’ credibility and employability in the cybersecurity industry.
