General Officer Commanding of Konark Corps Lieutenant General PS Minhas carried out comprehensive review of operational, training and administrative readiness of Konark Corps on Wednesday, says a Defence release.
The General Officer was briefed on various operational initiatives being undertaken to meet the challenges and exploit the opportunities in a technology enabled network centric battlefield environment. The General Officer was also briefed by all Formation Commanders of Konark Corps.
Lieutenant General PS Minhas laid emphasis on maintaining a high state of operational readiness, synergy and cooperation amongst all Services. He expressed satisfaction on the readiness of the Formations and exhorted all ranks to continue training hard and keep up the highest standards of readiness.
