Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit expressed shock and condolences to the families of six employees who died in the boiler blast that took place in the Thermal Unit of NLC India Limited on Wednesday morning.
In his message, the Governor said “I am shocked and grieved to hear about the boiler blast occurred today morning in Thermal Power station-II of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd., at Neyveli in Cuddalore District causing the death of six employees and grievously injuries to seventeen people.
I offer deep condolences to the families of those who are mourning the loss of their near and dear ones. I join the people of Tamil Nadu in praying for the early and complete recovery of the injured admitted in hospitals.’’
