Day after transferring nearly 100 mamlatdars, Gujarat Government has transferred 23 IAS officers, including various district collectors and municipal commissioners, says an order issued by the General Administration Department.
New Municipal Commissioner of Ahmedabad City
In these transfers of 23 IAS officers, senior IAS officer M Thennarasan has been appointed as the new municipal commissioner of Ahmedabad city. Thennarasan was working as Vice President and Managing Director of GIDC. Dr Rahul Gupta will succeed him. Earlier, Thennarasan had worked as the deputy municipal commissioner of AMC
Dhaval Patel has been appointed as Collector of Ahmedabad. Patel was working as Municipal Commissioner of Gandhinagar. Ahmedabad Collector Sandeep Sagale has been transferred as Municipal Commissioner of Gandhinagar.
DDO of Surat Garhvi has been transferred as Anand’s Collector. Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, DDO of Devbhoomi Dwarka, has been transferred as Collector of Dang. Dilip Rana has been appointed as the Collector of Kutch-Bhuj and Collector of Kutch Pravina D as the Collector of Gandhinagar.
