Invoking Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi’s words that “the world has enough for everyone’s need, but not enough for everyone’s greed,” Gujarat Minister of State for MSMEs Jagdish Vishwakarma said, “Reduce, reuse and recycle, and circular economy have been a part of the lifestyle of the Indian for thousands of years” and all of have to implement in our day-to-day life to save Mother Earth.
The minister, who was the chief guest at the Second Edition of the Greenpreneur 2023 Awards, here on Saturday said this while interacting with the eco-warriors and changemakers on attaining the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals).

Jagdish Vishwakarma also enlightened that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had set up the first-ever Climate Change Department in Asia when he was the CM of Gujarat.
The minister turned into a quiz master and grilled the audience to infer their knowledge on various environmental issues the humanity is facing today. In this knowledge-sharing session, the minister also said that by having millet-based food we are saving a lot of water and energy. This Indian practice helps in cutting the carbon emission.
The minister also launched a green app developed by a Hyderabad-based company – Ration Bio Products in the presence of company CEO Hiran Mahee.
