Ashirvad Foundation on Saturday felicitated 14 selfless workers who have dedicated their lives to society and human care with Dharti Ratna Awards. The awards were conferred Gujarat Governor Acharya Devavratji.
Governor Acharya Devavratji said, “Ashirwad Foundation felicitates extraordinary selfless workers each year which is a great matter. I am very happy that such diamonds are being felicitated today by Ashirvad Foundation.”
CA RS Patel, Founder, Ashirvad Foundation, said, “There is a dire need to contribute in social work. Today we are felicitating 14 workers who have dedicated their live for social work.”
The awardees were selected from across the state by a selection committee. Dharti Ratna Award comprises Rs.11,000.00 cash prize and a shawl.
This year winners of Dharti Ratna Awards are Asmabanu Shaikh, Dr Jagadishbhai Trivedi, Rajyogini Chandrikaben Brahmakumari,Manojbhai Bhimani, Jignaben B Dave, Dr Vikrambhai Patel, Dr Anilbhai Khatri, Dhansukhbhai Devani, Bhaktiram Bapu, Mansukhbhai Suvagiya, Kantibhai Parsana, Ganeshbhai Sindhav, Devchandbhai Savaliya and Nandubhai Walvi.
On this occasion, Kanchanbhai B Zaveri (Trustee and Donor, Satya Sai Hospital), sponsor of this programme Kanubhai M Patel (Chairman, Monte Carlo Ltd), and former revenue minister Kaushik Patel were also present.
Ashirvad Foundation provides health, education and community services, including affordable medicines and health services, medical mobile vans, breast cancer detection and awareness campaigns, career guidance, reading library.
