Gujarat High Court will get five new deputy registrars. PG Hothwani will be promoted to the post of the deputy registrar. The order to this effect was issued by the Chief Justice. All court staffers have welcomed these promotions.
Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Arvind Kumar has issued these orders under Article 229 of the Constitution.
The five new deputy registrars, including the promotee, are PG Hotwani, Sheela Vijai, RM Harpale, KA Bhukari and JK Dhillon.
They were selected on the basis of a selection test in which a total of 25 candidates appeared. Out of which 8 have cleared the test and five were finalised on the basis of seniority and merit, says a notification.
