Gujarat reported 19 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, taking the tally to 8,25,255, while no fresh death due to the infection was reported in the state, the Health Department said.

With 22 more patients getting discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, the tally of recoveries rose to 8,14,994, said a release by the department.
Gujarat’s coronavirus recovery rate is 98.76 percent, it said.
No coronavirus patient died during the day and the death toll remained unchanged at 10,078 in Gujarat, the release said.
Of the total 183 active cases, 6 patients are on ventilators, while 177 others are stable, it said.
According to the state government, 4.19 crore doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered to the eligible population till now, of which a little over 3.77 lakh shots were given on Thursday.
No new coronavirus case or patient recovery was reported in the adjoining Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu in the last 24 hours, said an official release.
Out of 10,629 people found positive for coronavirus in the Union Territory since the outbreak, four have died, 10,621 recovered, while four patients are still under treatment, said the release.
