Gujarati rom-com ‘Hurry Om Hurry’ will be screened in the second edition of ‘Gala Premieres’ on November 23 in Goa, announced Siddharth Randeria, veteran theatre, and cine actor-writer-director at the trailer launch of in Ahmedabad.
With numerous other remarkable films, including “Hurry Om Hurry,” the Gala Premieres section at the 54th IFFI offers a diverse and captivating cinematic experience that challenges perceptions, explores human emotions, and delves into the realm of suspense and mystery.
After an illustrious career of delivering blockbuster hits in the Marathi film industry for over a decade, Sanjay Chhabria, Producer, Everest Entertainment, is set to make an indelible mark in the Gujarati film industry with his highly-anticipated debut production, “Hurry Om Hurry.”

When one of the senior journalists asked Siddharth Randeria, who has won multiple awards as a writer, director and actor in a career spanning over 50 years, “What’s new or unique in this film?”, he replied in his inimical style, “We do not copy and paste,” reflecting the trend of present-day journalism in a sarcastic manner, which got applause from the media and students.
“Every new film comes with new script conceived over a period of time with due thinking to impress the discerning audience. It is our bounden duty to promote fledgling Gujarati entertainment industry to reach greater heights.”
Sharing his screen space experience with septuagenarian actor Siddharth Randeria, hero Raunaq Kamdar said, “It was a rewarding and unforgettable experience for youngsters like me to act with Randeria Sir. However, he made us made very comfortable and brought out the best from all of us.”
When an entertainment special journalist raised a question to lead actress Vyoma Nandi, who has also been acting in South Indian films, “Why South cine industry is far ahead of Gujarati industry in all respects?” she replied ”We are kids when compared to over 200-year-old industry.”
Directed by Nisarg Vaidya, with a screenplay penned by Vinod Sarvaiya, “Hurry Om Hurry” promises to be a cinematic masterpiece that transcends language barriers and resonates with audiences of diverse backgrounds. The film’s cinematography is skillfully handled by Milind Jog, while the soul-stirring music is composed by Parth Bharat Thakkar.
