Muljibhai Khuman, former journalist of ‘Jansatta’ and editor of ‘Disha’ biweekly, was honoured with the “Samyak Sahitya Ratna Samman” award and a kit by Dalit Gujarati Sahitya Akademi at its Silver Jubilee Celebration here on Saturday.
The award was presented by Praveenbhai Gadhvi, President of Dalit Gujarati Sahitya Akademi, in recognition of Muljibhai Khuman’s valuable contribution to social-minded literature.
A one-day national seminar to mark the silver jubilee celebration of Dalit Gujarati Sahitya Akademi was organised at Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad. The function was chaired by veteran journalist and president of Dalit Gujarati Sahitya Parishad Prakash N Shah.
