Political thriller ‘Kshadyantra’ was released on Thursday on premium Gujarati OTT platform ShemarooMe.
The star cast shared their experiences virtually on Wednesday.
Expressing her experience of working in this web series, veteran actor Apara Mehta said, “After rejecting all the projects, I have done the first Gujarati project. I have been waiting a long time for a good and classy character that can do justice to my role. Web series ‘Kshadyantra’ is definitely the right project for me.”
Veteran actor Rohini Hattangadi said, “I am very happy to be a part of the ‘Kshadyantra’ web series and I am happy that ShemarooMe has decided to present this extraordinary web series to the Gujarati industry. I have played many characters in my career but Vasantiben’s character is very close to my heart. I am sure that viewers will definitely enjoy this web series. ”
It is worth mentioning that two veteran actors, Apara and Rohini, are working together for the first time in their careers. Talking about the challenges of shooting amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the artistes said that the safety of everyone was a top priority. Shooting was very safe and easy with the support of ShemarooMe and Production House.
Commenting on the film, director Urvish Parikh said, “Kshadyantra is the first Gujarati web series in which there are so many veteran and influential artistes have come together. The experience of shooting this series has been memorable for me. I am happy that ShemarooMe has produced this show and is releasing its premiere for every Gujarati on its platform. ”
Sharing his experience, Deepak Gheewala said, “I feel happy to be part of this ambitious project and the family. I am confident that the viewers would love to watch all the episodes streaming on ShemarroMe from today.”
The platform had also launched original web series Vaat Vaat Ma, Unknown to Known along with 9 other titles in the last 2 months. Their first digital release Gujarati movie, Swagatam, which had been released even before hitting the theatres has already received great response from Gujaratis across the globe. The platform is confident that Kshadyantra will also follow the same path and entertain everyone.
