Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual leader, is paying 8-day visit to Gujarat from March 11 to March 18. During his eight-day tour, Gurudev will commence his tour from Rajkot and will also visit Surat, Vapi, Gandhidham, Ahmedabad and Anand, said Uday Krishna, spokesperson, Sri Sri Ravishankar Foundation, Gujarat unit here on Wednesday.

A fortnight ahead of Gurudev’s Gujarat visit, the teachers of The Art of Living Ahmedabad will hold the Happiness Program (Campaign) in 20 locations for city residents from Friday to Sunday, March 3 to 5. Thus they will experience Sudarshan Kriya Dhyan Pranayama through the Happiness Program to get rid of stress and experience mental cleanliness and a sense of fulfillment in life, announced Krishnaji and his team.
Stating that just like the importance of physical cleanliness, the importance of mental cleanliness has increased a lot after the Corona period. To meet this end, the Art of Living Institute has organized a Happiness Festival on March 15 at Karnavati Club in Ahmedabad. Under this programme, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the pioneer of The Art of Living, will show thousands of people the way to be happy when he visits Ahmedabad on March 15, the organisers added.
Catching youth to drive home the message of drug-free campus
Gurudev always believes in the power of youth and their role in transformation of the society at large. He will interact with over 5,000 youth delegates to promote Drug-free Campus, Mission Green Gujarat, Water Conservation at Science City, Ahmedabad on March 16. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and his ministerial colleagues will take part in this event.
As a precursor to Gurudev’s Gujarat visit, the organizers have launched various awareness campaigns in public places like gardens and community centres over a period of four months. Under this program, dhyan/yoga, “Sudarshan Kriya” are being imparted.
