Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has signed an MoU with Bengaluru-based company SASMOS HET Technologies Limited to work together on advanced electronics, electrical and fibre optic interconnections in the aerospace domain.
The a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two companies on March 11.
HAL’s subsidiary Naini Aerospace Limited (NAeL) was also a signatory to the MoU, SASMOS’ statement noted.
The MoU was signed by Krishna, GM- HAL, Amit Mai Shrivastava , CEO NAeL and S Sethuraman, Director Sasmos in the presence of R Madhavan, CMD, Sajal Prakash, CEO HAL, H G Chandrashekar, Founder and MD SASMOSand other dignified professionals, includingN V Maslekar, Director, Sasmos.
Talking about the collaboration, H G Chandrashekar, Chairman & Managing Director, SASMOS HET Technologies Limited said, “The agreements entered into today attest to the SASMOS’ commitment towards designing, manufacturing, and integrating ingenious solutions for Indian Aerospace domain, Made in India. HAL is undoubtedly one of India’s largest aerospace-defence companies in India and a collaboration with them is prestigious yet filled with lots of excitement, ambition and responsibility.” He further adds, “Through this agreement, Sasmos along with NAeL intend to explore the potential for advanced network connectivity solutions to enhance the performance and develop solutions for HAL in the aerospace domain. We believe this is a great leap towards strengthening and growing our propositions for ‘AtmaNirbhar Bharat’.”
Sajal Prakash, CEO, HAL expressed his delight to work with SASMOS and showed confidence considering the proven track record and achievements of SASMOS in the aerospace and Defencesector.
The MoU is intended to explore business co-operation, especially in the northern India, through utilization of capacity and capabilities of NAeL to bring their complementary skills and competencies, experience and expertise in fibre optics, electronics and electrical interconnected system in the Aerospace domain through the support from HAL and SASMOS.
