Haryana police raid company selling duplicate Hypertherm products in Gurugram

Acting on the complaint of a multinational company, Hypertherm’s agent, the Haryana police have raided a city-based firm and recovered duplicate materials worth over Rs 2 crore and arrested the company owner, says an FIR shared by the company.

According to the complaint of TACT India Private Limited, a copyright agent, one big wholesaler was selling duplicate Hypertherm products, including Nozzle’s, Electrodes, Shield, Caps, Water Tube, Swirl Ring etc. Plasma Cutting Consumables. Following their complaint, police seized very large quantities of duplicate material worth more than Rs 2 Crore from the wholesaler and the owner was was arrested.

TACT India representative filed a complaint at Sector 10A Police Station in Gurugram. After receiving the complaint, police raided Micro Weld India located at Udyog Vihar Industrial Area Phase VI, in Gurugram, Haryana and seized large quantity of duplicate products and packing material of Hypertherm, an American Multi-National.
