Asian Institute of Nephrology & Urology (AINU), one of the largest group of super specialty kidney care hospitals in India is spreading its wings beyond Hyderabad by opening a new hospital in Nungambakkam area of Chennai on Sunday.
This is the first facility of AINU in Chennai and seventh facility in the country. The 100-bed unit quaternary care renal sciences hospital will house a specialized dialysis unit of 25 beds with an advanced HDF dialysis capable unit for critically ill patients. A dedicated team of highly experienced fulltime urologists and nephrologists are available 24×7 to provide quality care to the patients. It is equipped with a comprehensive in-house laboratory and diagnostic facilities comprising X-ray, Ultrasound, Multi-slice CT Scan and Urodynamics.

There are four fully equipped operating rooms specifically designed for urological procedures with all the latest surgical equipment like Lasers to perform high-end endoscopic and laparoscopic surgeries.

He further said that AINU always uses single use filter and Hemodiafiltration (HDF) for dialysis. The hospital will soon have robotic and advanced surgery facilities.
