Yoga boosts immunity, raises oxygen level: Sadhguru
The Yogic practices are specially designed by Sadhguru to equip people to combat the corona virus. ‘Simha Kriya’ strengthens lung capacity and enhances immunity while ‘Sashtanga’ increases oxygen level in the system. The sessions will also include general tips on appropriate dietary habits that will help to maintain one’s physical and mental wellbeing.
Isha’s offering comes in the backdrop of increasing scientific evidence that Yogic practices can reduce the devastating impact of the virus on the human body. With the nation facing acute oxygen and bed shortages, many are taking to Yogic practices to avoid hospitalization in the event of an infection.
