HelpAge India Regional Resource and Training Centre in Chennai organized a 3-day Residential Training Programme for Dementia Care/Management at the Madras School of Social Work, says a release.
The training programme was organized between March 9 and 11 by the HelpAge India Regional Resource and Training Centre, Tamil Nadu in collaboration with Centre for Ageing, Madras School of Social Work, says a release.
Over 40 NGO functionaries from Old Age Homes from across Tamil Nadu participated. The session was inaugurated by Chief Guest, D. Rathna I.A.S., Director – Social Welfare and Women Empowerment, Tamil Nadu.
Other guests were Dr. R. Sathianathan, Former Director, Institute of Mental Health, Chennai (Guest of Honour), Dr. S. Raja Samuel, Principal, Madras School of Social Work, Chennai and Mr. V. Sivakumar, State Head – Tamil Nadu, HelpAge India, the release added.
