The Heritage Art announced that it is organising ROOBAROO AMDAVAD – Ahmedabad’s 1st Heritage, Art and Souvenirs Show – it will be a one-of-a-kind exhibition to popularize and promote the heritage, art, tourism, and culture of the city of Ahmedabad.
The show will be inaugurated on February 20 in the presence of who’s who, government officials, renowned personalities from the field of arts, design, heritage, and architecture, and will be open for the public on February 21 at Mangalbag Gallery and Residency from 11 am to 9 pm. Registrations are open on their social handles & AllEvents.in.
Besides the interactive experience like Spin Thy Charkha, Textile Prints & Patterns, KehKarTohDekho – Write a Postcard!, Wall of Heritage – Postcards Exhibit, and I ♥ Ahmedabad Photobooth, the show will also offer souvenirs and heritage products inspired from Ahmedabad & Beyond, by recreating the vibe of local street markets but in a rather poised way.
“Heritage is fun and has an eternal life of its own. To preserve it, we need to popularize it, the way we popularize western trends and adopt western cultures. We want the local community to preserve Ahmedabad’s legacy by adopting it as a way of everyday life and make it a ‘cool’ thing for tourists. We created The Heritage Art with this vision and we are sure each Amdavadi would be proud of what we are going to display and offer at Roobaroo Amdavad.” says Richa Dalwani, Founder of The Heritage Art.
