Diwali is a festival when families come together to celebrate. City-based realty major Heritage Infraspace India Private Limited has joined hands with Sarthi Foundation, an NGO working for the welfare of widows in Ahmedabad brought back smile on.their faces on Monday.
For the widows living in Ahmedabad, Diwali is a day of living through past memories of the good old days when they used to celebrate this festival with their husbands, full of glee.
Heritage Infraspace India Private Limited Managing Director Gagan Goswami and one of the trustees of Sarthi Foundation Rajesh Solanki on Monday distributed grocery kits, sweets to widows who do not have earning members in their families.
This humanitarian service was held at Sarthi Foundation’s Seva Kendra in New Gota area of Ahmedabad.
One of the beneficiaries said, “Every Diwali, she is reminded of the celebrations she participated in when her husband was alive and thanked the noble hearts.”
