Highbar Technocrat Limited, a leading Information Technology solutions provider to the infrastructure, Engineering, Construction and Operations (EC&O), announced that it has partnered with Cube Highways and Transport Assets Advisors Private Limited (Cube Highways), to provide Digitally Integrated Solutions for its current Toll Road projects and the future expansions, says a release.
Cube Highways, a portfolio company of I Squared Capital, is India’s largest aggregator of toll roads, which it operates under the Toll-Operate-Transfer (TOT) model instituted by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
Under this partnership, Highbar Technocrat will provide SAP – led, integrated technology solutions to Cube Highways for strengthening its network of 28 Road and Highways projects that spans over 8,900 lane kms across India. Being the biggest TOT aggregator in India, Cube Highways’ vast geographic presence and diverse traffic flows on its toll roads demanded a fully integrated smart information technology network to run its dynamic business model, streamline business processes and analytics for quick decision making. Highbar Technocrat’s digital interventions will boost Cube Highways’ expansion plans in Transportation Asset Management andupgrading the existing Information Technology application landscape.
In August 2021, the finance minister had unveiled the Rs 6 lakh crore asset monetisation pipeline of the Centre, under which about Rs 1,60,000 crore asset monetisation had been planned for roads to cover monetisation of 26,700 km of national highways via the toll-operate-transfer (TOT) and the Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) routes.
