- CA May 2025 exam: Ahmedabad center reports 19.35% CA Final, 10.62% Intermediate and 13% Foundation exam results

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially declared the CA May 2025 results for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final levels on Sunday. This was for the first time all three course results were declared simultaneously.

In the CA Final May 2025, Rajan Kabra secured the All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) with an impressive score of 516 out of 600 marks, translating to an aggregate of 86%. Nishtha Bothra followed close behind at AIR 2 with 503 marks, and Manav Rakesh Shah secured AIR 3 with 493 marks, announced ICAI Central Council Member CA Purushottam Khandelwal.
At the Intermediate level, Disha Ashish Gokhru clinched AIR 1 with 513 marks (85.50%), while Devidan Yash Sandeep (503 marks) and Yamish Jain/Nilay Dangi (502 marks) took the second and third positions, respectively.
The Foundation course saw Vrinda Agarwal leading with 362 marks out of 400 (90.5% on Monday on Monday), followed by Yadnesh Rajesh Narkar (359 marks) and Shardul Shekar Vichare (358 marks) in the second and third positions.
Giving information about this, ICAI Central Council Member CA Purushottam Khandelwal said, “In the CA Final Course examination conducted in May 2025, the all-India result in both groups is 18.75 percent which was 13.44 percent in November 2024. The result of Group 1 is 22.38 percent, which was 16.80 percent in November 2024 and in Group 2 it is 26.43 percent, which was 21.36 percent in November 2024. “
A total of 29,286 students appeared in both groups. Out of which 5,490 passed.
For, CA Intermediate course, CA Purushottam Khandelwal said that the result of both the groups is 13.22 percent, which was 14.05 percent in November 2024. The result of Group 1 is 14.67 percent and the result of Group 2 is 21.51 percent. Which was 14.17 percent and 22.16 percent respectively in November 2024.
He further said that the All India result in CA Foundation Course was 15.9 percent, which was 21.52 percent in November 2024.
Ahmedabad Center results
CA Final
Giving information about the results of Ahmedabad center in CA final course, CA Nirav Agarwal, Chairman of ICAI’s Ahmedabad branch, said, “In the CA final exam conducted in May 2025, the result of both groups is 19.35 percent, the result of Group 1 is 23.28 percent and the result of Group 2 is 20.10 percent. Which was 13.44 percent, 16.80 percent and 21.36 percent respectively in the exam conducted in November 2024. Priyal Pramod Jain of Ahmedabad center has secured 18th rank in India and Partha Amar Shah has secured 28th rank.
CA Intermediate Course
CA Nirav Agarwal said about the results of Ahmedabad center in CA Intermediate course examination that the result of both groups is 10.62 percent, the result of Group 1 is 13.99 percent and the result of Group 2 is 33.18 percent. In the examination conducted in January 2025, these results were 21.94 percent, 8.12 percent and 31.56 percent respectively.
Kinjal Rajeshbhai Chaudhary of Ahmedabad has got 29th rank and Yug Anilkumar Patel has got 38th rank.
CA Foundation Course

He further said that in the CA Foundation Course exam conducted in May 2025, the result of Ahmedabad center is 13 percent, which was 23.16 percent in the result conducted in January 2025.
Moksh Bhavesh Rathod of Ahmedabad has got eighth rank in All India and the first in Ahmedabad in CA Foundation. Both his dad and granddad are practising CAs, sources said.
Honourable Supreme Court lauds ICAI’s exam system
Incidentally, Ahmedabad Centre always produced better results than he national average in all three categories. Answering a query on its decline in May 2025 exams, ICAI Central Council Member CA Purushottam Khandelwal. said, “ICAI has been conducting the exams in transparent, free and fair manner with utmost professionalism, which has been lauded by even the Honourable Supreme Court. It is one of the toughest professional exams maintaining highest standard of secrecy right from paper setting to distribution. We produce only the brightest as CAs. This year 14,247 candidates qualified as CAs.”
