In a swift move, entire gold weighing about 23 kg robbed at gun point by a group of dacoits were seized by the Cyberabad police in Telangana on Saturday.
This could be possible only because of the well coordinated and swift action taken by the special teams of police from Tamil Nadu, neighbouring Karnataka and Telangana, said the management of the Muthoot Finance here on Saturday.

The management expressed its gratitude to the police team for arresting all the 7 inter-state dacoits with 24 hours of the crime.
The recovered gold ornaments were kept at Cyberabad police station, the release said.
“We would like to place on record our appreciation for the DGPs of Telangana and Tamil Nadu and all police officials of both states that have supported us. We are in dialogue with the authorities and through our continued co-operation we are hopeful that the gold will be given back to us soon so that we can release it to the respective customers’’.
