DG Rakesh Pal, PTM, TM, Director General of the Indian Coast Guard is on a four-day maiden visit to the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) North Western Region.

The visit of Director General commenced from ICG Regional Headquarters at Gandhinagar, wherein, he reviewed Ceremonial 51 Men Guard of Honouron Thursday. The Director General was presented with overview of ops and other relevant activities of ICG North West Region. The Flag Officer also interacted with officers, troops and civilian personnel and complimented them for perseverance and sustained efforts for mandated tasks at sea.
The Director General called on Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and appraised of the ICG activities and preparedness to meet various challenges.

The Director General also paid courtesy calls on Chief Secretary Raj Kumar and DGP Vikas Sahay.
