AHMEDABAD, SEPT 2
DG Rakesh Pal, PTM, TM, Director General as part of his four-day visit to ICG North West Region visited ICG District Headquarters at Porbandar and Okha towards reviewing operational preparedness. Inspector General AK Harbola, TM, Commander of the North West Region accompanied the Flag Officer during the visit to these stations.

The Director General conducted extensive deliberations during op briefings at both the frontline units and reviewed the operations, admin and infrastructural preparedness of all the stations to meet various challenges in the Area of Responsibility of the Region North West. He later visited Inventory Depot and Air Enclave at Porbandar.

During the visit, the Director General inaugurated Maritime Aquatic Training Facility at Okha and JCOs Mess at Porbandar. Coast Guard Kinder Garden at Okha was also inaugurated at the hands of Dipa Pal, President Tatrakshika.
