AHMEDABAD, APRIL 2
The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) on Sunday announced that it had evacuated a critically ill fisherman to Dwarka Medical College from midsea.
“The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Interceptor Boat C 413 responded urgently when a distress call of medical evacuation was received from Indian Fishing Boat Pawan Raj where in a 38-year-old-crew had fallen unconscious following a paralytic/cardiac attack,” the statement added.

The ICG ship with medical team, took over the patient after reaching the position, provided first aid and medical assistance to the patient during passage and transferred him to Dwarka Govt Medical College in Gujarat for further medical help.
He is reportedly stable, the statement added.
