On occasion of 44th Raising Day of Indian Coast Guard (ICG) falls on February 1 and to mark the Coast Guard week celebration 2020, a free Medical & Eye screening camp was conducted at the Chennai Primary School, Thiruchinankuppam on Wednesday.
The medical camp was conducted by Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (East) and people in large numbers from Thiruvottiyur have benefitted by the free Medical Camp.
In the medical camp, free health check up and diabetes screening were done. Medicines were distributed to the needy on free of cost. An eye screening camp was also conducted in coordination with Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital and screening for cataract & vision abnormalities were undertaken, a release from Defence PRO said.
