In the series of Yoga activities prior to eighth International Day of Yoga, a Yoga session was organized by the Indian Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (North West ), Gandhinagar on Monday. Yoga embodies unity of mind and body. It is a holistic approach for better health and well being. Apart from Yoga Session, activities like lectures, seminars, quiz competitions and awareness drive are being conducted in all Coast Guard Units of Gujarat Region.
About 900 Coast Guard personnel and their family members participated in the Yoga session, in various stations.
