In a historic moment, the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians (IFMR) marked its entry into the western region of India by presenting its charter to Rotary Club Ahmedabad Metro on Tuesday.
The event marks the establishment of the first IFMR chapter in the western part of the country, further strengthening the organisation’s global footprint.
The charter was presented to the leadership of IFMR Ahmedabad by IFMR India India President Rajesh AR and IFMR India Secretary Vinod Agarwal at a grand ceremony. The charter was received by IFMR Ahmedabad President Dr Praveen Saxena, Secretary Rashmin Jani, and Treasurer JK Ashtekar, symbolising a new chapter of service and shared passion for motorcycling within the Rotary family.
Speaking at the ceremony, IFMR India President Rajesh AR, said, “The establishment of the first IFMR chapter in the western part of India is a significant milestone for us. We are excited to welcome Rotary Club Ahmedabad Metro into our fellowship, and we look forward to forging meaningful connections and collaborations.”
District Governor Mehul Rathod, District Governor Elect Mohan Parashar, District Governor Nominee Nigam Chaudhary, and Rotary Club Ahmedabad Metro President Hardik Sompura, also graced the presentation ceremony.
