At Smt SR Mehta Arts College, a special lecture was delivered by Principal Darsha Jani on the life and contributions of Swami Vivekananda. Around 35 students and faculty members participated, with students later sharing their perspectives and interpretations of his teachings, reflecting a deep engagement with his thoughts on youth empowerment and social responsibility.

The NSS wing of CC Sheth College of Commerce organised a National Youth Day programme centred on Vivekananda’s vision of self-confidence, moral values and national service. Faculty members Jayandrasinh Thakor and Mohammad Salman Yusuf addressed students, urging them to imbibe these values in their academic and personal lives.

Prin M C Shah Commerce College also observed National Youth Day with activities aimed at promoting discipline, moral values, self-development and holistic health among students. The programme featured a student-led discussion on the importance of discipline in student life, followed by an address by Principal N D Shah, who underlined the role of disciplined, value-based youth in nation-building. A special workshop on holistic health was later conducted by experts from the Brahma Kumaris Institute, Mahadev Nagar, focusing on positive thinking, meditation and balanced living, along with a practical meditation session.

With enthusiastic participation from students, faculty and staff, the campus-wide celebrations reinforced Swami Vivekananda’s message that empowered, disciplined and value-driven youth form the foundation of a strong and progressive nation.
