Aiming to provide students with direct access to industry mentors and real-world opportunities, The Gujarat Creative Artists Summit 2025, hosted by the Indian Institute of Creative Skills (IICS) at Karnavati University, an institution affiliated with NSDC Academy and operated by the Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC), funded by NSDC, witnessed an inspiring confluence of thought leaders, creators, and industry experts from across the media and entertainment world. The summit brought together a dynamic mix of artists, educators, entrepreneurs and policy leaders to champion the future of India’s creative economy.

The summit, which followed the successful Delhi Creative Artists Summit and the Delhi Creators Summit hosted by Indian Institute of Creative Skills (IICS), featured an engaging panel discussion on the Creator Economy among renowned names such as celebrity dance judge and choreographer Dr. Terence Lewis, actress and content creator Riva Arora, Actress Raviraa Bhardwaj, Actor Ansh Bagri, acclaimed film director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, influencer and entrepreneur Muskan Arora, and film producer and MESC governing council member, Ketki Pandit alongside attended with celebrated influencers from Gujrat.

The panel, also comprising Dr. Mohit Soni, CEO of the Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC), explored the rapidly evolving ecosystem of content creation, the role of digital platforms, and the imperative of skill development in the arts.

Speaking at the summit, Dr. Mohit Soni highlighted the importance of industry-academia collaborations in nurturing creative talent.

“With the Creator Economy booming, it is essential that we empower the youth with not only the technical skills but also the creative confidence to innovate. The Indian Institute of Creative Skills (IISC) hosting event like Gujarat Creative Artists Summit play a vital role in bridging the gap between aspiring professionals and the industry,” he said.

The Gujarat Creative Artists Summit 2025 also served as the formal introduction of Indian Institute of Creative Skills (IICS) at Karnavati University, a new chapter in creative education aimed at providing students with direct access to industry mentors and real-world opportunities.
