The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has announced the commencement of its Final Placement Process 2025–26 for the flagship Postgraduate Programme (PGP), beginning February 3, 2026, following the successful conclusion of the Lateral Placement Process on January 15, 2026.
The lateral placements witnessed participation from an elaborate mix of recruiters across diverse sectors, including FinIQ, NTT Data, Navi, ERP.AI, BrowserStack and Eternal, among others, underscoring sustained recruiter confidence in IIMA’s talent pool.
Cluster-Based Placement Model Continues
IIM Ahmedabad will continue to follow its cluster–cohort-based placement process, under which companies are grouped into cohorts based on industry profiles. Multiple cohorts are then invited to campus within a designated cluster to ensure fairness, transparency and efficiency.
The PGP Final Placement schedule is as follows:
- Cluster 1: February 3, 2026
- Cluster 2: February 6, 2026
- Cluster 3: February 9, 2026
The institute will adopt a rolling placement process post Cluster 3, if required.
PGP-FABM Placements Also Begin February 3
The Final Placement Process for the Postgraduate Programme in Food and Agri-business Management (PGP-FABM) will also commence on February 3, 2026, with Cluster 1, followed by Clusters 2 and 3 on February 6 and February 9, 2026, respectively. A rolling process will follow thereafter, if necessary.
