A three-day ‘Plant Based Wellness Retreat’ will be held at IIT Gandhinagar (IITGN) from Friday to Sunday, February 23-25, 2024. Lalit Kapoor, Founder & Director of Plant Based Wellness Foundation will be the resource person for this retreat.

The retreat is designed to provide participants with a holistic approach to health, focusing on plant-based nutrition and overall well-being. Kapoor will guide participants on adopting and maximising the benefits of a plant-centric lifestyle. Topics will include mindful eating, nutritional balance, and the positive impact of plant-based diets on overall health.

Many individuals often question the necessity of attending a retreat, especially after the abundance of online courses available nowadays. In response to this common query, Padmini Dittakavi, a recent participant in Lalit Kapoor’s Visalia retreat, shared her insightful testimonial. She highlighted the challenges of navigating extensive digital content and emphasised the unique benefits of a retreat setting.

She expressed how a retreat creates an immersive experience, fostering a supportive community. The testimonial underscored the significance of witnessing diverse age groups coming together to prioritise holistic health and learn from one another.

Several attendees in the past have given clear testimonies on reduction of lifestyle conditions such as hypertension, diabetes etc.

The plant-based wellness retreat promises a transformative experience for attendees. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in authentic, focused presentations by Lalit Kapoor, providing a deep dive into plant-based nutrition and holistic health practices. The retreat facilitates genuine connections as attendees share their health challenges, fostering a real support group committed to collective well-being. It also offers a hands-on approach with nutritious meals served in alignment with the principles discussed, allowing participants to experience theory in practice.
