The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) on Wednesday announced the 10th Academic Advisory Council (AAC) and 11th Leadership Conclave (LC) will be held at the Institute on Thursday and Friday, January 06 and 07, 2023, respectively.
The highly regarded events witness the presence of eminent academicians and industry stalwarts from around the globe to discuss major strategic initiatives for IITGN with the leadership and faculty members of the Institute.
The 10th Academic Advisory Council will focus on effective strategies to recruit the best faculty members, attract more international students, introduce newer academic programmes to meet future industries’ needs, and promote entrepreneurship and technology transfer among students and faculty at the Institute.
This year’s AAC will have leading academicians from the University of Miami; Clemson University; University of Colorado; University Institute of Lisbon, (ISCTE-IUL); Johns Hopkins University; IIT Kanpur; IIT Bombay; IIPHG, Gandhinagar; among others, who will provide their strategic and expert inputs on the priority areas to IITGN.
The 11th Leadership Conclave on the next day will bring together some of the most eminent thinkers, industry experts, academicians, and startup mentors from Bankworld Inc, USA; KAAJ ventures, USA; University of Notre Dame; NASSCOM; Banaras Hindu University; IIT Kanpur; IIT Bombay; among others. They will deliberate and guide the Institute on ways to augment the engagement with IITGN alumni, accelerate startup culture and commercialisation of technologies at the Institute, enhance the Institute’s visibility at domestic and global levels, and advance globalisation.
