The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), on Tuesday announced Ipsita Sengupta, a BTech alumnus of Electrical Engineering (Batch 2017- 2021), has been awarded the highly prestigious international scholarship “FEMTEC” for WOMEN IN STEM in Germany. Ipsita is one amongst the 50 students across the top nine best universities of Germany to achieve this scholarship for excellence in the STEM field.
Ipsita emerged as one of the five students chosen for this esteemed scholarship among numerous applicants from the University of Stuttgart, in Germany. The selection process consisted of a rigorous two-tier system, spanning a period of one month, and involved interviews conducted by distinguished HR leads from prominent industrial companies such as Amazon, Mercedes, Porche etc. as well as university representatives from the top universities in Germany.
The prestigious FEMTEC scholarship provides exceptional training programs, unique industrial visits, and invaluable networking opportunities within the STEM domain. By receiving this scholarship, Ipsita and her fellow recipients will gain enhanced exposure and access to career opportunities that will shape their professional journeys.
