The GUJCOST-supported RADAR-2025, jointly organized by IITRAM’s Centre of Excellence in Advanced Defence Technology and Centre of Excellence in Aerospace and Defence, convened leading researchers, industry experts, and academicians to explore cutting-edge innovations in defence and aerospace domains. Dr. Narottam Sahoo, Adviser and Member Secretary of GUJCOST was the chief guest.
The two-day event featured keynote addresses from eminent scientists, including Ulkesh B. Desai (SAC–ISRO), Dr. K. Durga Prasad (PRL Ahmedabad), and Grp. Captain (Dr.) Rajeev K. Narang, VM (Retd.) from MP-IDSA, covering topics such as spacecraft design challenges, lunar thermal discoveries, and counter-drone warfare technologies.
Technical sessions showcased over 30 presentations on emerging areas, including UAV development, radar-absorbing materials, AI-powered health monitoring, hybrid-electric propulsion systems, structural composites, and cybersecurity for defence networks. Delegates from premier institutions across India contributed research on stealth applications, smart materials, and sustainable aviation technologies.
