The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management (IITRAM) recently organized a thorough orientation event for the newly admitted UG students here. The session aimed to provide students with essential information to kick-start their academic journey at IITRAM, offering valuable insights into the academic program structure, rules and regulations, policies, opportunities, resources, and the registration process. It also included guidance on course and supervisor selection and introduced the crucial portals and resources available to IITRAM students.
These students will be pursuing their Engineering dreams in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Engineering at IITRAM. The programme was attended by students along with their parents / guardians. Students joined B.Tech programme from PAN-India, including states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh etc.
They were warmly welcomed by Prof. B.N.Singh, Director-General, IITRAM. He congratulated the students and their parents for taking admission and briefed about the academic culture of IITRAM. He said that the students are entering into a new phase of life and assured them this would be an exciting journey of lifelong learning. He emphasized that IITRAM has excellent faculty, and curriculum is at par with leading premier institutions across the country.
The incoming students also gone through a foundation programme of 3 days to make them familiar with campus life and get acclimatized to the new environment. Some of the planned activities include yoga sessions, workshops on Rocketry Workshop, toy making, Painting/E-poster making, cultural and sports events.
