The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at IITRAM Ahmedabad, in collaboration with CSST IIT Roorkee and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SVNIT Surat, is hosting the 5th International Conference on Recent Advances in Mechanical Infrastructure (ICRAM 2025) from Friday to Sunday, January 10th to 12th, 2025.
The conference was inaugurated with a distinguished ceremony, presided over by prominent figures from the academic and research community, including Prof. P.K. Jain, Director General of IITRAM, Prof. K.K. Pant, Director of IIT Roorkee, Prof. H.B. Mehta, Professor at SVNIT Surat, and Prof. M.K. Barua, Director of IITRAM. Additional guests included Prof. S.H. Upadhyay, Head of CSST IIT Roorkee, Prof. Prabal Talukdar from IIT Delhi, Dr. Vishal Bagade, Scientist at DRDO, along with a host of delegates from across India. The inaugural ceremony also welcomed virtual delegates participating online.
ICRAM 2025 received an overwhelming response, with 245 research papers submitted, of which 148 were selected for oral presentations. These papers, covering a wide range of topics in Mechanical Infrastructure, will be presented over the course of the next two days in twenty-eight planned sessions. In addition to these presentations, the conference will feature eight keynote sessions delivered by eminent academicians, renowned scientists, and defense personnel.
Since its inception, ICRAM has served as a platform for meaningful discussions on the latest advancements in the fields of Materials and Manufacturing, Thermal and Fluid Sciences, and Design and Infrastructure Planning.
