In a major step toward advancing India’s leadership in sustainable energy and environmental innovation, the Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, will host the 1st International Conference on Advanced Materials for Sustainable Energy and Environmental Infrastructure (ICAM-SEEi 2025) from November 26 to 28, 2025.
Organized by IITRAM’s Department of Basic Sciences, the global event aims to serve as a vibrant platform for the exchange of cutting-edge research, transformative ideas, and collaborative innovations in the fields of advanced materials, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The conference is being held under the leadership of Chief Patrons Prof. P. K. Jain, Director General, IITRAM, and Prof. M. K. Barua, Director, IITRAM.
ICAM-SEEi 2025 will feature an impressive line-up of 4 Plenary Talks, 14 Keynote Lectures, and 30 Invited Talks, delivered by distinguished scientists and professors from premier institutions such as TIFR Hyderabad, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Ropar, JNCASR Bengaluru, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Bhilai, IIT Dharwad, and BARC Mumbai.
The conference will also witness participation from globally reputed universities including Chonnam National University (South Korea), National University of Singapore, TU Delft (Netherlands), University of South Florida, Binghamton University–SUNY, Washington State University, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison (USA).
Over 117 technical papers will be presented across frontier areas related to advanced materials for energy and environmental infrastructure, offering new insights into materials science applications for sustainability.
Officially sponsored by the ANRF, Government of India, the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), and Class One Systems Pvt. Ltd., the event underscores IITRAM’s commitment to promoting high-impact interdisciplinary research.
ICAM-SEEi 2025 is envisioned as part of IITRAM’s broader initiative to position India at the forefront of global materials science research.
